What happens if a bake fails?

Short answer
You get your credits back. If a job fails, or you cancel it before it finishes, every credit it charged returns to your balance on its own. You do not need to ask.
In more detail
Credits are taken when a job is accepted, so you see the charge right away. When a job fails, the studio shows the refund next to it and your balance goes back up.
A job fails when it stops with an error, for example when the model cannot be built. A job that finishes with a result you do not like has not failed, so it is not refunded on its own. For that case:
- Your first character after your first pack is covered by the first-character guarantee.
- Rate the result with the thumbs up or down in the studio and say what went wrong. The team reads every rating.
- Contact support with the project name, and we will take a look.
Pictures or prompts that break the rules, such as nudity, are turned down before the job starts, so no credits are used.
For a better result next time, run the free readiness check on your picture first, and read what makes a good picture.
