Terms of service.

These terms govern your use of Bake3D (“the service”), operated by Bake3D Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we”, “us”), 607 Deemer Pl, New Castle, DE 19720, United States. By creating an account or using the API you agree to them. If you use Bake3D for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf.

1. The service

Bake3D turns images and text into textured 3D models, rigs them and animates them from described motion. It runs on our own software and on third-party compute and machine-learning providers under contract to us. Output quality depends on the input; we do not guarantee a particular result for any image or prompt.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 and use an email address you control. Sign-in is by one-time email link or code, or by a connected Google or GitHub account.
  • One person, one free account. Creating accounts to collect free checks, bonuses, invite rewards or free credits again (for example with disposable inboxes or address aliases) is not allowed, and we may merge, limit or close such accounts.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping API keys secret. Tell us at once if a key leaks; revoke it from Account → API keys.

3. Credits, packs and plans

  • New accounts do not receive free credits. Accounts created before 4 October 2026 received 55 free credits once their email address was verified, and keep them. A free account may use the readiness check, up to 3 successful checks a day; it uses no credits.
  • Credits are charged when a job is accepted. If the job fails or you cancel it before it finishes, the credits for what it did not deliver are refunded automatically; what it already put into your project stays there and stays charged, as the refund and cancellation policy describes.
  • Credits from packs, and any free sign-up credits an account received, do not expire while your account exists.
  • A plan adds its monthly credits with each paid period. Plan credits are used before your other credits and belong to that period: unused plan credits do not roll over to the next period, and they end when the plan ends.
  • Promotional credits, such as a first-pack bonus or an invite reward, are granted once as described on the pricing page and are taken back if the payment they depend on is refunded.
  • Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes unless the checkout says otherwise.
  • Plans renew until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the images and text you submit and must have the right to submit them. You grant us a licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you. We do not use your uploads or outputs to train models, and neither do our processing providers under our contracts with them.

5. Generated output and licences

Subject to these terms, we assign to you whatever rights we hold in the meshes, rigs, animations and exports generated for you. How you may use them depends on how they were made:

  • Personal licence. Output generated with the free sign-up credits only (accounts created before 4 October 2026), before any purchase, may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes: learning, portfolios, hobby projects and sharing where nobody pays for it.
  • Commercial licence. Output generated after you bought a credit pack, or while you have an active Pro or Studio plan, may be used commercially: in games, films, products, client work and advertising. Output generated under a commercial licence stays licensed after a plan ends.

You can upgrade earlier personal-licence output by regenerating it after a purchase. Output may resemble output generated for other users from similar inputs; we make no promise of exclusivity. You are responsible for making sure your use of the output does not infringe others’ rights (for example a trademarked character in your source image).

The sample models on our free 3D models page are licensed to everyone under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0), so anyone may use, change and sell work with them, also commercially, as long as they credit Bake3D as that page describes.

6. Acceptable use

Use of the service must follow the acceptable use policy. In short: no nudity or sexual content, nothing sexual involving minors, and no pictures of real people without their consent. Bake3D checks pictures and prompts for nudity and sexual content before a bake starts and declines them without using any credits. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break the policy. Where we close an account for a serious breach, unused paid credits are refunded where the law requires it.

7. Third-party providers

Generation, rigging and motion run partly on compute and model-inference providers under contract to us. Your images and derived data are sent to them only for the duration of a job, under terms that forbid retention beyond processing and any use for training. The privacy policy lists the categories of providers we use.

8. The API

API keys are available on paid plans. Rate limits apply and may change; automated use must not degrade the service for others. Do not resell raw API access without a written agreement with us.

9. Availability and changes

The service is provided as it is and as available. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it, and we may replace models and pipelines with better ones over time. We will announce material price changes at least 30 days ahead and material changes to these terms by email before they apply.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Account → Settings; deletion cancels any plan and removes your data as described in the privacy policy. We may end the agreement with notice, or immediately for a serious breach.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
