Are my pictures and models private?

By the Bake3D teamLast checked:

Short answer

Yes. Your pictures, prompts and models stay private in your account. Bake3D uses them only to make your character, and never publishes them, shares them, uses them in marketing or trains models on them.

In more detail

To build your character, your picture goes to our servers and to the AI and computing providers that run parts of the job for us. They get it only while the job runs. They may not keep it afterwards or train on it. The privacy policy lists each kind of provider we use.

Your projects stay in your account until you delete them. You can:

  • Delete a project at any time.
  • Download all your data as one file from Account, then Settings.
  • Delete your account. Your projects and files are removed right away and are gone from backups within 30 days.

Only the people who run Bake3D can reach stored data, for example to answer your support request. Payments go through Stripe, and we never see your card number.

The free browser tools are different. The converters, viewers and STL tools run on your own computer, so those files are never uploaded at all. The 4 free models are our own sample characters, never customer work.
