Which motions are free?

Short answer

Ready-made motions, such as walk, trot, run, jump, look around and tail wag, are free on your own characters. Every rig also comes with a free first motion. Only motions you describe in words cost credits.

In more detail

Ready motions are fitted to each character's own body. A walk is fitted to the length and the number of its legs. A motion only shows up when the character has the parts it needs, so a snake is offered a slither, not a walk.

There are ready motions for many kinds of bodies:

  • Legs: walk, trot, run, gallop and jump.
  • Heads and bodies: idle breathing, look around, nod and shake head.
  • Arms: wave.
  • Tails, wings and fins: tail wag, flap, slither and swim.
  • Objects: roll, bounce, pulse and hover.

The first motion comes with the rig at no extra cost. It is a short loop. If your picture showed an action, like running, that action becomes the first motion where it can.

Downloads are free too. You can export any motion as an animated GLB or FBX as often as you like.

Motions you describe in words cost 10 credits each. On the demo characters, you can try one for free with Direct it.
