## Short answer

Bake3D is a web app that turns one picture or a short description into a textured 3D character with a skeleton, then makes it move the way you describe in words. It works for animals, creatures, robots, people, vehicles and objects, and it exports files for Blender, Unity, Unreal and Godot.

## In more detail

You upload a drawing, a render or a photo, or you type a description. Bake3D builds a textured 3D model. Then it plans a skeleton for that model's own body, so a fox gets four legs and a tail, and a robot gets the joints it really has. Each joint gets a job name, like head, tail or left front leg.

To make it move, you pick a ready motion such as a walk, or you type what it should do, like "shakes off water". The engine writes that motion for that body. Then you download a GLB or FBX file for your game or app, or an STL of a pose to print.

Bake3D is made by Bake3D Inc., a company registered in Delaware, United States. Its engine is called bake3d-1.3-enhanced.

It has limits. It cannot rig a model you made somewhere else. Faces have no smile or blink controls yet. One picture shows one side, so the back of the model is a good guess, not a copy. You can see for yourself before you pay: the demo and a check of your own picture are free.
