## Short answer

Yes. Bake3D has a REST API and an MCP server. Both need an API key, which comes with the Pro and Studio plans, and they use the same credits and prices as the studio.

## In more detail

With the MCP server, an assistant such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Claude Desktop can check your balance, start a bake, wait for it, add a described motion and hand back a GLB or FBX file. It connects over Streamable HTTP at `https://bake3d.ai/api/v1/mcp`.

The REST API does the same from your own code. You upload a picture or send a description, start a job, check on it, add motions and download the files from signed links.

Good to know:

- You make keys in Account, then API. A free account cannot make one.
- Steps that cost credits take an idempotency key, so a retry with the same key is not charged twice.
- Failed jobs give their credits back, just like in the studio.
- In MCP, deleting a project is the only tool that removes data, and it must be confirmed.

Try Bake3D before you pick a plan. The demo and the readiness check are free, so you can judge the results first.
